Loughor V Dragons (22/12/13). Away. Scarlets Training Barn.
Sorry for the delay in adding this post to our blog.
On 22 December we played Loughor in the Scarlets training barn. I am sorry that there are not more photos but the lights ruined any pictures with movement!
The Dragons played really well in the first half with some crunching tackles and great passes. Lewis was our player of the week who put in a stand out performance. Tackle of the week was awarded to James. Well done boys.
That was the last game of 2013. But it all starts again in the New Year. Thank you for your support. Mark.

Glynneath V Dragons (Away) 08/12/13
The Dragons travelled up the Neath Valley to play Glynneath today. Glynneath were great and we look forward to playing them again in the new year. The Dragons played really, really well. Grant, Nigel and I were proud of the whole team. Our passing was really good with lots of fast offloads and flowing rugby. There were some really tough, but fair, tackles from both teams. Everyone played well today but for the first time Rhys was awarded player of the week and tackle of the week by the dads. Well done boys. Mark.

Waunarlwydd V Dragons (Away). 01/12/13.
The Dragons were away against Waunarlwydd today. Both teams were evenly matched and there was some great rugby all round. Mal has appointed himself as the "Offensive Coach" which I think is a very descriptive title! Our Captain today was James. Player of the week was Joseph who was fantastic. Tackle of the week was well contested but was awarded to Sam. Well done boys this was a big improvement on last weeks woeful performance! Keep it up. Mark.

Dunvant V Dragons. (Away). 24/11/13.
We played Dunvant at their ground today. The weather was cold but if you play rugby in Wales it goes with the territory! The new jerseys have arrived and look fantastic. Thank you to our sponsors your help and Nigel for his design. The rugby was less than fantastic! We were not at our best today and need to make more tackles. Things need to improve next week or Mal and I will lose our voices! Sorry about the photo of Tom. This wa a slight error. He does deserve a special mention as supporter of the week for dressing in Mumbles colours. Luca was our captain today. Man of the Match was Lewis who was everywhere today. He tackled, scored trys, supported others and applied pressure at Dunvant re-starts. Tackler of the week was Rhidian. Mark.

Dragons V South Gower. (Home). 17/11/13
The second of our the games today was against South Gower. The coaches are really pleased with the improvement in our performance. All the boys played well today. There were some crunching tackles and great supporting play leading to trys. Thank you to Nick who has bought a new trophy for the team. The Tune Tremendous Tackling Trophy TTTT will be awarded each weak! The first winner of this prestigious award was Rhys. He put in a crunching tackle towards the end of the South Gower game. The parents could hear the thump at the side of the pitch! Captains today were Will (New Dock Stars Game) and Lewis (South Gower Game); both did a great job. Player of the week was awarded to Aeadan. Thank you parents for your support. Hope you enjoyed the rugby. Mark.
