Dragons V Vardre (Home). 27/10/13.
The Dragons needed gills today! With the storm approaching our plucky Dragons played Vardre in Bishopston. As you can see from the photographs it was awful weather; character building! Theo won our player of the week award this week for some excellent tackles. Well done boys. See you at training on Thursday. Mark.

No game against Bonymaen. We will run a training session. 20/10/13
Sorry for the late notice but we have just heard that Bonymaen don't have an under 9's team. There won't be a game this Sunday, 20/10/13, but Nigel will run a training session. This will be held on our normal pitch at Bishopston from 10:30-11:30. Nigel will be on his own this week so I am sure he would appreciate some help from the parents. I am off to do my rugby referee course! Mark.
New training venue and times. Bishopston school gym. 19:00-20:00.
We are moving to Bishopston Secondary School gym for our winter training. The gym is located behind our normal pitch. Training will be an hour later than normal from 19:00 - 20:00 each Thursday. The gym has a hard floor so the Dragons will need trainers and track suit trousers so they don't hurt their legs. We will be practicing tackling in the sessions so head guards and gum shields are still a good idea. When the weather and light improves we will move back to Whitestone school and train on grass at the earlier time. Mark.

Dragons V Vardre. Home. 13/10/13.
We played Vardre at home today. We were ok but not as good as last week. We need to try and pass the ball out to the players on the wings....remember Dragons that "One and run is no fun, two from the base gets you space!" If the boys could apply the skills we learn in training and use them in the games we may be a force to be reckoned with! There was some great play from Aeadan, Lewis, Noah, Sam, Joe and Rhys. Our captain today was Luca who was also our player of the week, well done. As the weather is changing and its getting darker its likely to be our last training session at Whitestone. We are going to book an indoor venue this week. Thank you parents for your support. See you on Thursday. Mark.

Dragons V South Gower. 06/10/13. Home.
It was our local derby today. We played against South Gower at home.
The weather was great and both sides played really well. Thank you Rhidian for referring the game.
The Dragons were awesome today. What an improvement on last week. The coaches and parents were all impresed with the boys performance. South Gower are the best side that we play so the Dragons did really well.
Choosing player of the week was not an easy task today with all the boys playing well. The trophy was awarded to Noah.
Well done Dragons you were fantastic.
Mark.
