Sunday 29. End of Season Party at Pitchside. 10:50am

The weather is awful so a BBQ is not a good idea. We would like to finish our season with a bit of fun so we have hired Pitchside in Swansea. This is an indoor artificial grass court. We have hired this between 11am and 12:00. Please arrive by 10:50. We plan to play rugby and football with the kids. After the fun we will provide hotdogs and drinks for the Dragons at the venue. If you are feeling adventurous please feel free to join in with us. Brothers and sisters are welcome as well. Both you, and the Dragons, will need trainers. I would like the Dragons to wear our jerseys but they may want their favourite football top as well! PLEASE RESPOND TO THE TEAMER MESSAGE SO I KNOW HOW MUCH FOOD AND DRINK TO ORDER. See you on Sunday! Mark.

Training 15 April 2012

We had a really good training session last week. We did some fun warm up exercises and sprints to start but I think someone had a false start if you look at the photos! After a quick game of 'huggy bears' (note to some players this is not called kissy bears!) we split the group into two. The dads ran an exercise to help the Dragons with their tagging and evasion skills. Nigel and I worked on tagging skills. Finally we had a game of tag rugby where we worked on defence and keeping a tag line. The it was back to the rugby club for some isotonic hot dogs and lemonade! Thank you all for your help. Mark.

Sunday 15 April. Training. Bishopston. 10:30am

If you looked at the blog recently there has been a change of plan. Pontarddulais are not bringing an under 7's team.

We will hold a training session this week and will try and organise a game to end our season next Sunday.

Please arrive at Bisopston at 10:30 on Sunday 15 April.

Mark.

Easter Sunday Training.

I really enjoyed our training session today; I think the Dragons did as well!

Our session was focused on our defensive play. We played bulldog with some very big and mean looking defence (Thank you dads!). We then did some drills to work on tagging and evasion. Check out the photo of Rhydian twisting his hips to avoid being tagged. We finished with tag rugby.

Well done Dragons you were great today.

See you next week,

Mark.
